Hello! I am a creative entrepreneur and British artist who is passionate about art and maps. I create hand-drawn illustrations using brush and ink, which offer a playful and honest vision of the world in which we live.
Over the past few years I have created a unique and everlasting archive of illustrations featuring cities, towns, and regions from all around the world, which have been made into stylish souvenirs, art prints or tote bags through my creative collaboration with a global portfolio of retailers and licensees.
My distinctive handwriting is expressed as spirited and creative line drawings with flat and textured colour palettes, which translate well into the medium of print. My spirited and naïve illustrations capture a love of travel, wildlife, and world culture.
I live in Devon and when I’m not discovering the world from my drawing board, I can be found with my cats and chickens at home where I semi successfully grow lots of fruit and veg, or out walking the South West Coast Path and swimming in the sea. I practice yoga for sanity and suppleness and after years of heading up manufacturing companies in Sheffield, try to enjoy a piece of the good life in Devon.
Although I did not start drawing Cityscapes until mid-life, my true creative journey began as an eight-year-old child. Camping and touring Europe in the summer holidays with my family, I discovered a world of wonder beyond the sheltered upbringing I had in England. Each day, I drew and wrote about the castles and palaces, zoos, and beaches that she visited with my sisters and parents.
Over the last decade I have created more than a thousand artworks, most of them commissioned by prestigious retailers across the globe and made into beautiful product by manufacturers such as Parkwood Springs.
